Topsham Community Market - Most Saturday's

Sidmouth FolkWeek - August, A unique week-long seaside celebration of music, dance and song taking place in the charming East Devon regency coastal resort – a must in every festival goer’s annual diary. There has been a folk festival in Sidmouth in the first week of August every year since 1955, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to over 700 diverse events with a promise of ‘something for everyone’ – from major league concerts to small intimate sessions, from ceilidh dancing to lively roots parties, from family entertainment to youth-centred masterclasses, from social dance to colourful dance displays. The town’s streets and venues come alive with festive atmosphere as holidaymakers and festival goers join together in a music-based holiday to remember.

The Budleigh Music Festival takes place in mid July every year. The evening concerts are performed by top international artists, but we also run a series of free lunchtime concerts featuring local or up-and-coming talent. All details are here on the website and tickets are now available for all the evening concerts.

Exmouth Farmers Market - The market is held on The Strand Gardens, Exmouth on the second Wednesday of every month from 9am to 1pm. Location: The Strand Gardens, Exmouth, Devon. Tel: 0139522229. 

Exeter Farmers Market - A wide variety of fresh local West Country foods are available to try and buy at the Exeter's Farmers Market. The market runs every Thursday throughout the year on the junction of South Street and Fore Street. 9am - 2pm.

Honiton Farmers Market -  Held every Thursday of the month outside St. Paul's Church, High Street. Opens 9am - 1pm. A wide variety of local produce will be on offer, including: homemade cakes and pies, rare breed pork, ostrich produce, fresh meat, venison, fresh vegetables, cheese, jam and flowers.   

Seaton Farmers Market - Third Friday of each month. Tea, coffee, homemade cakes and pies, rare breed pork, venison, fresh vegetables, cheese, jam and flowers; all the ingredients necessary for a lovely meal of local Devon produce. Town Hall, Seaton, Devon. Tel: 01404831310.

Guided Bird Watching Cruises with Stuart Line Cruises - There are a number of cruises from Exmouth Marina. A full cruise timetable is available on their website. The vessel has an open top deck and an enclosed and heated lower deck. Toilets and disabled access is available as well as a refreshments bar selling hot and cold drinks including homemade soup and snacks. Advanced Booking is strongly recommended for these popular cruises.
